Overton(e) Window, 2021

“Overton(e) Window” is an immersive installation of synthesized images and sounds collected by Salas and Mersereau in 2020 from several places in the Americas. Overton(e) Window aims to represent in a multi-sensory experience the emotional, political and natural landscape of a pandemic year that shook us. This year has highlighted the complexity of social issues, the urgency to rethink our interactions, and to expose the absurdity of systems and their policies. “Overton(e) Window” Insists we imagine new perspectives for the future.
